Why ReadMyMove
Watches count minutes and heartbeats, but they barely notice how you move: the rhythm of your feet, how your hips carry you, what happens when you get tired. That's where the real progress hides.
Cadence and step timing from the first minute to the last, not just one average at the end.
Each recording becomes motion traces and charts you can scroll through, so a feeling becomes something you can check.
Asymmetry, joint angles, style recognition and beat feedback are coming next, on the same pods you buy today.
How it works
Three steps, no lab, no special outfit. It works with whatever you already train in.
One universal pod, many 40 mm elastic straps: chest, waist, thigh, calf/ankle, arm/wrist. Use 1 pod or 7.
The pods stream over Bluetooth, 100 times a second, to the web app on your phone or laptop.
Charts for every session, with cadence and steps today and deeper metrics as they are validated.
Honest by design
We only call something a feature once it works. Everything else is labelled roadmap, and every number is an estimate until we have validated it.
Five strap placements. Wear the pods where your sport happens.
The app
The web app already records and charts your sessions. Try it at app.readmymove.com (you need pods to record). iOS and Android apps are planned.
Connect up to 5 pods over Bluetooth, hit record and watch acceleration and rotation from each body part as you move.
Each session is saved with its charts, so you can come back to a run or a practice and compare it with the last one.
Pilot testing
We are running our first tests with runners, dancers and coaches now. Their feedback will appear here only with their permission. We won't invent reviews.

With stretchy elastic straps. The chest, waist, thigh, calf/ankle and arm/wrist straps all share one standard mount, so every pod fits every strap. Nothing is sewn into clothing, and you can wear the straps with any outfit.
Today it shows live motion recording, motion traces and charts for each session, plus cadence and step analysis. Ground contact time, left/right asymmetry, joint angles, activity and dance-style recognition, and beat/timing feedback are on the roadmap. We label them that way until they work and have been checked.
